You are already a Reiki practitioner and are likely considering all aspects of applying your skills. Following the previous article, where we explored how to use Reiki to help animals, this time, I will direct your attention to plants and everything you need to know to work with them successfully.
So, what opportunities do you have for energy work with your favorite flowers and plants?
Like every living being on Earth, plants use the same type of life energy to function. Although they do not have a chakra system, they also channel astral energy in a specific way, which, like heat, water, and light, is essential for their existence. Furthermore, it is well known that plants possess a unique sensitivity, and it has been undeniably proven that they are influenced by the emotions they are exposed to—they may wither or thrive depending on the energy surrounding them. Since our emotions are a part of our astral body, belonging to the astral plane, it is evident that astral energy (Reiki) can affect them.
Benefits of Reiki for Your Beloved Plants
Improving their overall state of balance.
Accelerating growth and healthy development.
Encouraging abundant blooming and prolonging their lifespan.
How to Work with Plants
For potted plants, the best approach is to send Reiki energy to the roots by holding the pot with both hands. If the plant has sufficiently large, broad leaves, like a ficus or a shamrock, you can place your hands on either side of the leaves.
To speed up germination and facilitate growth, you can infuse Reiki energy into the seeds you plan to plant by holding them between your palms and making appropriate affirmations.
Another option is to charge the water for watering your plant with Reiki energy by placing your palms on either side of the container holding the water.
If the plant is unwell, try to identify the cause before starting a Reiki session—it could be due to pests, inadequate care (underwatering or overwatering), an unsuitable location that does not provide the necessary amount of light and heat, etc. Take the necessary steps to ensure proper care and, if needed, treat it for pests. Once the plant’s needs have been addressed, apply your love and Reiki skills to support its recovery.
Unlike Reiki work with people, which requires prior consent, working with plants (and animals) does not allow us to request such consent. However, at the very least, before starting, you should speak warm words and send your love to this beautiful and unique living being—your beloved plant.
Good luck and wonderful results to you and your flowers!
